So, a friend calls me 2 nites ago, and sais...I'm playing Nick Varner tonight, come down and check it out. I had plans, and my first thought was....what the hell are you doin playing Varner?
next night another guy calls me and sais....hey Varner is here palying the room owner a little 1P!?
Turns out Nick is on a sales trip in our area moving his line of cues, and visiting the local rooms. So I stop in the next day and the room owner tells me about playing Nick and breaks out the cues he stocked from Nicks line. I screwed a few together, and REALLY liked one cue that was SS joint/5/16-18 thread/all black/bushka rings at all places/irish linen. This cue hit VERY solid for being a sub $100 cue. I am working on the room owner to sell me one at cost for a little plumbing work in trade....report later
