Give me a damn break. Why do people on forums claim they want action? The way they go about it is totally unrealistic. "So anyone wanna come up here and play Reed Pierce?" No, you halfwit. Nobody wants to come play Reed Pierce. Why don't you quit woofing about action and trying to get a champ a game and get in the damn box yourself.

Reminds me of that one dude on here who used to get on here and always say "Corey Deuel is looking for a game. We'll be in <city>." Again, give me a damn break. Nobody cares how tight you are with Reed or Corey, or whoever you claim to know. I swear, some guys get on here just to talk about who they know.

All the top players know who to call if they're looking for action with other players. The internet isn't going to be the catalyst of any big-time action. And while you're pretending you want to gamble, bring Reed to NC and I'm sure we'll find someone who will give him a *FAIR* game.

My exact thoughts - to the word!

Hell, Reed can get played in any number of places as long as the game is already pre-made and the $ is posted in advance - Even here in St. Louis.
And from my 25-year-old memories of N & S Carolina - He might have to accept reservations.
I also wouldn’t be surprised to find out that Reed isn’t even aware of all this woofing being done in his name.

its not woofing im just trying to get him in action and yes he is aware the owner of the room i work at and another guy are just wanting to put some money up for him to play on thats all. yall all get bent out of shape about this stuff if u dont talk about it when do these top guys u all are talkin about ever get action? it was simply a proposal now when i was talking about nick vita which im still interested in everyone wanted to come and play so i dont understand why yall badmouth me when it is reed whats the difference its still just trying to get action and tom ferry talking about not coming down here to memphis afraid he might get trapped by christopher is a joke in itself but i didnt say anything james is 60 ive been here 2 months and have seen him play less than one hour of pool so if ur worried about him plz dont even respond on this thread.
 
i thought i was off here for the night but i guess im not that really makes me hot that you two react to something like that the way that u do everyone knows reed hasnt been playing any he didnt get in the ipt hasnt won a tournament in i dont know how long im trying to stir up some gamble for the room im running now and yall act like this. i think its totally out of line i havent called one player out anywere on any of my post tried to match up games by using pm's so it would be between us, reed, and the other player. if u cant get on the internet and talk about action where would u two like it done at and i will try to accomidate u both. and thats all this is so no sense in trying to be some badass or hero or philospher for that matter we all know what it is and if we can get a game worked out with anyone i will bet whatever i my pocket allows but i will just tell u since this thread started had three offers: one yall saw with rodney since rudedog posted it on here well no thanks and the other two were in private so i will not repeat them out of respect for the other players who did it that way thanks to u both so if anyone wants to try and do something plz let me know post or private thanks alot and hope to see you all in memphis in november.

Dont worry about NeverHasBeen and the other guy. They are just mad because they are nobodies in pool. Reed is a former US Open champ, even if he isn't playing at all its hard to get action for someone who is a champion. JJLING is doing nothing wrong using the forums to find a game. You guys need to stop *****ing about it and shut your mouths if it doesn't concern you.

JJLINK - If you look up my original post - I was offering to play YOU as long as:
We Don't Play Cheap.
And all money is posted and paid after every game.
Anyone can quit after the finish of any game.
These conditions are necessitated by my current health so you see I am also looking for action.
There is nothing wrong in trying to promote action for your room here on the internet but this third party matching up is pretty non-productive when anything proposed must be run up the flagpole and responded to. I'm sure nothing is going to happen before the November tournament so your promotional efforts are working fine.
Many, many years ago I played even with Ritchie Austin & Canard there in Memphis and had many good matches in Ritchie's poolroom - So - I'm looking forward to getting back there. I know it will be hard to believe but I've got a pretty good line on your game and with me playing only about 65% of my previous ability - I've been told we would be a close game.
I wasn't trying to suggest that you’re trying to trap anyone with James Christopher but I had heard he is there. I made some good $ on & with him years ago in Detroit and would like to see him again.
If the right people from The Break Poolroom here are able to come to Memphis with me as we are discussing now - Believe Me - THERE WILL BE ACTION - and it won't be Cheap!

Ps - About the only way I know of to really Win Or Lose any money here on AZ Billiards is to flip a coin for maybe $100 or $200 and you can call it in the air as I flip it here in St. Louis. We can imidiately settle up via PayPal if your a user. If not I' trust you until I get to Memphis (If I Win). I've only done this 4 other times here on AZ and I'm 1 and 3 so you might want to really consider this.

A 2 day notice would be nice because like everywhere else, it has been pretty slow around here.
What game does Nick want to play and for how much?Now maybe we can get somewhere because IMO the days of someone sneaking up on someone are over (so I'm out of business).
If you can just answer the above questions, I'll get back asap. Between me & watchez (he is much more connected & current than me) - I'm sure there could be ACTION.

Jason - Terry is thinking and trying to figure a way to go to Starkville & we will probably will go to Memphis. With your info - can you tell me who Nick WON'T play One-Pocket even with here in St. Louis? That might help me to get him matched up here.
I just don't want to woof back & forth until something looks good for serious play.
