Hey all-

Just wondering if anyone out there can give me any feedback on Chris Nitti cues? I've got a chance to get into one at what seems to be a fairly reasonable price, but I'm a little hesitant to pull the trigger without finding out a little more.

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated!

I got one from Brian at Rack 66 in Louisville. I felt the price was very reasonable for the quality of work and performance. I think he is a little underpriced frankly.

It was just that good.

I just got one from Chris Nitti. Great workmanship and a reasonable price. The butt is a thinner than other cues and the taper on both shafts is very stiff. In re the workmanship it is first rate. I got a four point with ivorine buttcap and sleeved joint. Radial pin and ivory ferrules. Great balance. Great value on what you get.

I think Stevie Moore is playing with one of his cues as well. I saw him in Memphis and asked him and the cue he was playing with then is a really traditional Nitti. Said he liked it alot.

I've had my Nitti for just about over a year now. Living here in the Orlando area has its benefits as I know Chris personally. Quite a few people out of my old pool hall shoot with Nitti's and that is what led me to get one.

That said, I think his cues are absolutely perfect. That is why I got one. I could of course rave about this or that, but the bottom line is just that. I went looking for a nice custom, and I found it in Chris' cues.

I've a link in my sig to pics of mine. If you have any questions I would be glad to try to answer them...

By the way, my site may be a bit slow right now as we are still recovering from Hurricane Wilma. My ISP is having an up and down time restoring lines, and getting things taken care of. If it is slow, just try back a bit later.

Chris makes a real nice, traditional styled cue for the money. His point and inlay work is first rate and the playability is excellent. IMO his cues are underpriced (for the kind of work you get), too, but the market is tough nowadays with so many cuemakers. Very good value for the money, IMO, and he is also one of the nicest guys you could ever deal with.

Ever thought of carrying a few sneaky petes or high end plain jane cue's on the site maybe under the 600 dollar range. I like good cue makers but usaly like kinda plain cues and don't spend over$750 for a cue .
