How many players?.., Who is there?.., Any high runs to speak of?

There were 16 players (I apologize that there are two that I can't remember off the top of my head): Danny Barouty, Steve Lipsky, Tom Walter, Mike Davis, Don Polo, Ed Hodan, Liz Ford, Ed Deska, Steve Lillis, Mike Zuglan, Terry Keith, Paul Lucius, Carmen Lombardo, Marty Ciccia.

Today's match-ups are:

A Side
Danny Barouty vs. Tom Walter

B Side
Steve Lipsky vs. Mike Davis




Don Polo and Terry Keith placed 5/6th.

Davis was beating Barouty in the match to decide who would play Walter for the championship. Score was, I think, 85 to -3 with a high run of 85 by Davis when I left.
 
Mike beat Danny. Danny was making a comeback and had the score at like 61-104 when he missed with an open rack. Not sure yet who won between Tommy and Mike.

One of the additional two players is Bill Horne, an excellent player who I think plays out of Comet.

The other was, I think, Robert Hayburn? I know that's close :).

And as Liz said, a huge thank you to Bill, Marcia, and the rest of the Comet staff for putting on such a wonderful event again. It's a beautiful tribute to the life of Jack Colavita, for whom the tournament is now named.

Terry Keith- Is that that guy from way up CT somewhere? Haven't heard of him for years.

Yep. I didn't recognize him at first... he used to have really long hair, but he cut most of it off.
