NJ weekly pool tournaments

Any rooms out there that have weekly tournaments. Been to a few rooms with posted weekly tournaments on the internet only to walk into an empty room. Any info would greatly help thanks in advance

For first time visiting a room, have you tried calling in advance to avoid disappointment? Depending on where you are in Jersey, it may be easier to come to NYC. Steinway Billiards in Queens have tournaments on Mondays and Wednesday nights.

I have seen ads on FB. No calls though. I have been to some of them b4. I'd love to go to Steinway but going weekly is not in the cards.

I think Fat Albert's in south jersey has one. Don't know the turnout or the day.

They're weekly 9 ball on 9 ft has been empty. They do what they call a chip tournament on the bar table 2x a week. It draws a lot of players however the format can be frustrating.I enjoyed playing in the 9 ball tournament when they did have it.
