No Carpet - Table Ideas

I think we've had a few threads on installing a table without a carpet. I could use an idea, pitfalls, and successes.

The room has is floored with large tiling.

Tiling represents a problem. I have the same problem.

At the moment, I've made some carpet strips (6 foot wide by length required) protect the tiling from being broken, by any balls that might get off the table. So far, (3 years) no tiles have paid the price.

My table legs sit on vinyl linoleum squares (6 inch by 6 inch )

My new project will be to use Carpet Squares ( 2 foot by 2 foot ) easily installed, easy to remove.

Center the feet on the middle of the tiles out of the grout area so it will be level. Then, you could consider something like this and cut holes in the foam for the feet so that the table would not settle.
