Every Monday @ Sharkeys in Alexandria, La 10$ to get in 4$ green fee. No limit style tournament play. Starts @ 7:30 money add after 15 players.

Each player gets 4 poker chips. You use a chip everytime you lose. Winners stays on the table. BCA rules.

Do you play one type of game of eight ball and do the games change?

Are there any special rules, how do you determine the shooting order, and does it change, this sounds like something I would like to get the bars around here into.

The Game is 8-ball Bca rules<it can be 9-ball too> the entire time. Everyone is given 4 poker chips. Before you start everyone draws a number, say 1-15. You start off with say 3 tables< depending on the size of your turn out you may want to use 2 tables or 4 even>,Players 1 and 2 play, 3 and 4 play, then 5 and 6 play. As they lose the next player plays the first table done. Winner stays on and the new player pays for the table. So if table 2 is finished first and player 3 is the winner player 7 will play player 3. When you lose you give a chip to whom ever is running the tournament, when your out of chips your out. Every person get 4 chances to play but the tournament goes really fast. When more people begin to lose and your down to say 4 or 5 players you want to move to 1 table, To determine your 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. A feild of 20-25 averages about 4 hours. So it really goes fast, you spend no more than 4 dollars in green fees and everyone enjoys 4 chances over 2.

Thankyou Nick for posting this a few days ago. We had 22 players in this first tournament. what a turn-out!!! We will be holding this tourny every Monday. And as it grows we will use more tables and also add-in more money for tournament winnings. congrats to Mr. Buddy Ball for a first place win. The old man still has it. We will also have a website that is coming soon so that everyone will be able to see our hall and the activities that take place. Good luck to the future players and may a table always be open.
