"No Matter How Small"- a children's book about pool

Yes! WE DID IT!!
The books will be printed!

Thank you for your kind words and your support! *bow*
I can't do it without you! Thank you!!

This might be the first picture book about pool.
The book that we can read aloud with young children and share with them the game we all love!
I hope is that it will inspire many children.

Sincerely,
Tina

.....By the way, what are CTE and TOI?

Especially, special thanks to Ricky and Mikie!

Ricky, O Captain! My APA Captain! You and Annie always stand by my side! Love you both!

Mikie, you've guided me and be my Jedi master for years!! Thank you!

who do we know herein, who is tight with Jeanette Lee & can get this info in front of her...? hmmm. i think his name starts with an "S"?

as well, i would think that Str8 Shots would purchase a lot & donate, as well as list on their website. Kimberly - she's your contact!

good job & good luck!

I don't think Str8-shots is around, their facebook page is gone, at least the one they had a few months ago, and they shafted a whole bunch of people at the last second with sponsorships without a word to anyone.

Okay I'm bumping this.
I PM'd Kitty and got no response.
This venture was fully funded and the books were supposed to ship around November.
All I want to know is where this stands.
Will the books be shipping soon?

I hope you the best, that's a great thing you're doing.., as I started playing pool at age 8.;)

My book arrived weeks ago. There was action required from one of the Kickstarter emails in the form of a survey I believe, where you had to enter your shipping address.
If you go to the Kickstarter page I think there may be a link or means to provide that info.

Look at how good my memory is! Search your email for something like this:

The preceding email was the one that took you to the survey. Tina sent out a follow up explaining that per KS policy she didn't have anyone's address and the survey was the only way to get items to backers.

Yea, I never got my book either and don't recall getting an email. What do you suggest I do?

good response, and good info - thank you! good to know that orders have shipped, albeit maybe some hiccups, which can be quickly reversed.

I just verified the following:

Log into your Kickstarter account. At the top right, there's a menu that allows you to see the projects you've backed.

Select 'No matter how small'

On the page for the book, under the description, are three tabs (story, updates, and comments)

Under the 'updates' tab, you will find the various project updates. There's one titled Survey, and that will be where you enter your info.

If you have doubts or questions, there's also an option to contact Tina Hou directly.

Hope it helps!

To: Dear Kickstarter Supports

Oh my goodness!
Sorry about the misunderstand!

Thank you so much for supporting my book!!!!

Kickstarter protects the backers' information. I don't have anyone's mailing address. After the project got funded, I had to send out the survey to ask for mailing address and email address on Nov.
If you didn't get the survey for some reason, please email me tinahoustudios@gmail.com your mailing address. I will mail it ASAP!

I sincerely hope you enjoy the book!
Merry Christmas!

Tina

Congratulations on getting your project funded. I'm seeing this thread and project for the first time and didn't notice the dates... When I clicked on the link I was very happy to see you met and exceeded your goal. I love the concept of this project.

If possible, I'd LOVE to get my hands on a hardcopy of your book, or maybe even two... My five year old is learning to read and he's also starting to show interest in playing pool. Is there a way to buy copies direct?

A friend of mine is also a children's book author who has independently sold over 63,000 copies of his books. (but not pool related) check out his site: http://www.grasshopperdreams.com/

I have one on the way, and it will be here before Christmas. I wish you much success with this venture and will tell people who I know have kids at my league night. (most of them) :)
