No pool for a week!

I am not going to get to play pool for a week! My wife's friend had a baby and we are leaving on Friday to go see them in Ohio! I am not taking the cues because I don't think we will have time. Also I found out by looking on Continental's website that they won't even insure golf clubs or pool cues! It is actually stated like that on their website! So I decided that I will have to do without playing! Actually it won't be a week, but 5 days is close enough! I am already having withdrawl symptoms!:eek:

Ohio is a mecca for good pool rooms and great players!

Just get a suitcase big enough to fit your stuff AND your case.

That is kind of sad.Those of us that live in Ohio love to play pool.I will put in some more practice for you.I hope every thing with the baby and your wifes friend goes OK.

Yea I have played in Ohio before when I was in the military. In fact I have a good story about traveling to Kentucky from Ohio and playing in a college bar when I was about 22! It was called the Stoned Monkey........never mind I am getting off track.

Anyway, I know there are some good places to play in Ohio, but the old lady wouldn't look at it too kindly if I ditch her friend, her hubby, and go to a pool room! lol She has been really patient with all the tourny's and stuff I have gone to lately. Give and take my friend! LOL

I am thinking about cruising over to meet BHQ though and check out his shop. I will probably give him a call when I get to Ohio.
 
Good time to hit up the pool halls and do some hustlin' since you'll want to use a bar cue for that anyway. :D

You may as well put your testicles up for auction on EBay, since you obviously don't need them any longer.

You Sir, need to saddle up, and get your priorities in order. You can't even concern yourself what you wife's friend and husband think. If today it's the wife's friend having a baby keeping you out of the pool hall, what's next? I don't even want to think about it. Sheesh. Don't ruin it for the rest of us. I'm glad my wife doesn't read the AZ, lest she would get any funny ideas about what I do with my time.

Now you know you got to compromise Gregg! And I have been to a lot of pool tournies the last few months. So I think it is time to let her have her way for once. I mean after all I got to sleep and live with the woman! LOL

So what if I am whooped! LOL

I can't go a day without playing, I start to ***** and Moan. We had to get a table. Seventy Bucks a week, When I'm In School!! Thats on avarage, What Kills me is summer...

My trick - always take a shaper with you. No matter what, you'll be ready to play. Just put one in your toiletries bag so you'll never forget it.

Oh, that baby has to sleep at sometime. ;)

Yes you did sir! I am famous for typos! 31 and I can't type or spell worth a lick! I wonder how many emails I send out for work like that? LOL
 
Hey I looked and I didn't have a typo! Bval is insinuating I was the stoned monkey, but it isn't true! I was in the Army and I dang sure wasn't going to get kicked out for being stoned. However I never said I wasn't the Drunk Monkey! I did a lot of that in the military!

Hey, I'm married, too, and understand the need to pick your battles wisely.

But this issue, IMO, is just too much to swallow. You really own it to yourself to get out there into a pool hall a few times while away. After all, it's not jut her vacation, is it?

Pack you favorite travel cue, and let me know how it goes when you get back!@#:rolleyes:
