Troy Downey builds one if the best cues I have seen. You can compare it to anybody except mabye searing and a few others but I was real impressed. You guys got give the guy some love. Nice work Troy. every year i see some of his cues at the meullers booth at valley forge.. they always impress me.. very nice cues...

Your probably right but man he does not deserve it. You guys know I have owned some very high end cues and I'm playing with one and not selling it. Well, I should not say that but it would have to be right. It's great. Thanx Aaron

Ditto that.I have owned numerous high end cues and the Troy Downey cues that I have had(and I've had a few),hit as well as any of them.The craftsmanship is remarkable.You can tell that he actually takes time to get them right.I still don't understand why his cues aren't given more of nod than they are.They may not be the fanciest looking cues(i.e. full of ivory and the like)but,they are truly great players.Hit as well as Southwest for about half of the price.

He does his ring work with inlays. Not channel rings. The wood in the points or the forearm always is used in his ringwork. This cue here has an awesome Black Palm wood nose.
