No Statement from the ABP about the US Open?

true.... but threads aren't built for the line I quoted below, they just wouldn't be able to do it justice. That's pure melodramatic press release material there.:D That ought to put to rest any rumors of pool being dead.. we're talking the WORLD here, baby!:rolleyes:

That is all my daughter and I are asking for at this time, for the ABP to make the statement that they promised us as the world is waiting to hear from them.

In light of some of the recent happenings between AZB and Dragon Promotions, it appears that AZB prefers the press releases.
 
Bottom line is, the ABP has still not modified thier website to reflect the end of the boycott :rolleyes:

If anything, how are the 'pros' going to stay abreast of the situation ?

Makes one wonder which 'pros' are going to show up for the Open..........

Well, since from what I read there are only a couple people actually stopping and thinking before they comment on this, I will take another route. First off, all of you need to back off the lawyer, like someone else said he is NOT their Public relations guy, he is their lawyer, their FREE lawyer to boot. It is NOT his job to schedule press releases and let the whole world know whats going on. From the looks and sounds of things he did his job and pretty well to boot. Secondly, you all have to remember we are talking about pool players here, we all know there is not a lot of money in pool so all these guys have to be on the road constantly and with all the big tournaments going on right now what do you think they are worried about? Putting food on their tables or making a press release even after it was very publicly known that the boycott was lifted? They have been out on the road trying to make a living, given if you want to own and run an orginization like that you have to keep a little more vigile about it but they are trying to survive, and all you people can do is ridicule them because they didnt give you your little press release about something that 9 out of 10 of you WONT EVEN BE ATTENDING! So what does it really matter to you?
