It was a high breakshot with the cue going into the top two balls. I used to hit this shot with top L or R hoping to skip off the top and out to the middle. Problem for me is with a bit to much force I would scratch cross side. lately I have been using straight follow with much success, cue moves very little, usually just out to the side rail, away from the rack.
I hit this particular shot with medium speed sending the cueball directly into the center of the top two. I think a couple balls might have come loose out of the back. The interesting thing was the cueball just sat there on the spot spinning for a good 2 seconds or so. The top two never moved.
