I don't know if the 1 rail kick to the side wasn't available, or what, but that's a heck of a shot to pull off on the first attempt. AND...he got it safe.

Monster shot....Wowzers.

I've played a ball or two in my life off of side pocket points that make corner pockets ducks (same principal).

I don't like my chances at all when I try it though.Probably in the nieghborhood of 2% of even hitting the ball.

I've seen it done out of a corner and never for such reach....sheeattt...thats nuts.

A couple or three months ago, I was watching Kim playing Shannon Daulton during one of the GSBT events at Kim and Johnny's room... Kim was stuck on his target ball, which was sitting very near a corner pocket, and he tries something similar - he aims for the opposite side pocket's point, to kick the ball almost directly back the way he shot it. And damn if he didn't nearly make the shot!

That's on one of the Accu-Stats bloopers and greatest hits videos. There's another one on that video of someone shooting the length of the table, doubling the tits and running across the width of the table to hit the object ball. Just insane. Creativity at it's best.
