North American Tour

Has the North American Tour cancelled their stop in Tucson, Arizona? Seemed to have disappeared on the AZ tournament calender. Any info would be greatly appreciated... Oscar
 
They canceled the tour after Pittsburgh. From what I was able to gather, the deal with Hilton included that the players would stay there and have only one or two to a room. Due to the costs of a hotel room (esp Hilton) and the fact that it lasted a week, the guys of course buddied up in the hotels as they usually do to help offset the cost. Also, there wasn't a very good turn out of fans because it was held during the middle of the week. :rolleyes:
 
The tour was ran quite poorly and although they were putting up some pretty good dough in added money it was poorly scheduled and poorly operated which always gave it little chance of succeeding.
 
It did and does suck, that's for sure. Although, I have heard that the Hilton will be participating with another promoter soon. ;)
