This is just the first rack. Although I haven't viewed them all, it looks like the entire match is on youtube

Thanks for the pointer -- I had a wonderful Sunday morning watching the entire match. (If any of you decide to watch it, remember to click on the full-screen option.)

What struck me right away was how professional and serious the broadcasters seem to treat billiards back home in Europe. Just notice how the commentators often stay quiet for several minutes, just intensely watching the match -- no BS fill-up. It's also fun to see how the referee constantly cleans the balls and asks the spectators to be quiet (even if they all seem to be most polite & noiseless).

Although I played some snooker back in Europe as a kid, I think it's kind of boring compared to pool -- but yet, watching this match was quite a refreshing & fun experience. I liked in particular the defensive plays -- especially at the end of frame 14.

Thanks again for posting this -- a rep for you!

Ding Junhui won the UK Championship in 2005 by beating Steve Davis. He was only 18 years of age. He is awesome once he gets into the reds.

I think it is quite certain by now that Ding will be first player outside of the british isles to win the World Championships in over 25 years. And only the second ever as well.

In finals of three tournaments he beat:

That's what makes his accomplishments even more incredible. He beat the three players that people argue to be the greatest ever.
