I am not new to the Azbilliards website. I have been reading it for a couple of years now, more so in the last year(keeping an eye on my nephews progress). Every morning I wake up and have my coffee and visit 4 different websites. Its kind of like my morning paper. I think what bothers me more than having to have 25 post to view the action section, is the way the older members are treating the (name calling, lurkers) people who enjoy reading and keeping updated on the pool community. There behavior is a bit offensive, and probably explains why some people prefer to remain silent and read, rather than contribute and risk being attacked. I have seen it many times with forums......you are entitled to your opinion as long as it agrees with mine, and if it does'nt agree with mine I will let you know how wrong you are.
Well, both you and SlowNTight both have the right attitude. Both of you say that you aren't going to stoop to the 3rd grade level that some of these people are doing. You may not like or understand why they are doing this, but you're dealing with it in a mature fashion.
I think that you're seeing some anger and disappointment from some of the regular forum members, because of the people that feel that even though they contribute absolutely nothing to this site, they feel they should be able to give the admins and owners the finger by posting idiotic spam for no other reason then to pad their post count.
They can't accept the owners decision, even though they have done nothing to contribute, it's free to them and really, how hard is it to make 25 worthwhile posts with as many threads as there is?
I'm sure these are the same people that ***** and moan and complain about free streams. The players suck, the commentators suck, the feed sucks.
Good luck and welcome to the site! I respect your decision to not throw a tantrum and say "I want what I want, and I don't care about anyone else but myself"
This whole forum thing, is really not that difficult

BTW... This forum and others, are my "morning coffee too!
