I was looking to buy this over the $150 lcb line of cues, and I thought the only difference was for $20 more you get Uniloc and a stainless steel joint.
But the Lucasi site says stainless steel, and pooldawg says wood to wood, and stainless steel collar

I don't know much about cue construction, so if someone can educate me here on how it works and what it actually is. I read stainless steel joints are going to feel different from composites or plastics etc. which can feel closer to house cues.
