CueTable Help

Does anyone know how the best way to create a notebook or where I could buy a notebook with table sketches so that I can record position patterns and certain shots. Obviously, the notebook would have to be small enough to go in my case. I have tried printing our sketches and piecing the pages together to bind a notebook. I want to know if there is anything out there that could be much clearer and strong enough to hold together.

Any info would be greatly appreciated. Please let me know!!

Thank you.

Try shotpad (www.shotpad). You can also search Dr. Dave's website, I think he has some PDFs templates. I simply take a photo with my cellphone camera, and then later print it out.

I use a book of standard index cards I purchased from Rite Aid. It is bound together with 2 rings so I can expand it or take cards out as needed. It is also separated into 4 groups by colors blue red green and yellow 20 each. I draw a table on the back (blank side) of the card and put notes on the front (lined side). It would be great to have it with the table already on it but I haven't found anything that. This index card book cost $3 so I can deal with the inconvenience of drawing the table, plus it is very compact and fits easily in my coat pocket or case pocket.

Target Pool by Kim Davenport

I would highly recommend it :
Its got everything and more u could create with your own notebook

Chalker's used to have a great booklet. It was 3-4" wide and 9" or so long. Every other page had a pool table diagram and the opposite page had a full page for notes and a "saying" about the game itself. It fit easily into the large pocket of your pool cue case. It was perfect for diagramming shots and as I remember it had the outline of a cue ball so you could indicate the English for your diagrammed shot. Last time I checked it was out of print but they were considering re-publishing. If it was available I wouldn't hesitate to buy several of them.

Blackjack has something like this. Drop him a PM, he can probably point you in the right direction.

Here is a link to the Player's Shot Journal - you can review the entire book at the link -

I have tried to make a version that fits in the case (like the other book listed - which IMO is excellent!). Myself, I had no luck with smaller versions, so I stuck with the 8.5 X 11, spiral bound - and I think it works best for the table diagrams I have put in there.
