Noticable improvement rocks :D

A few weeks ago, I took a three-day pool clinic. Ever since then my game took an immediate jump up a notch, and then has steadly been improving since.

I'm breaking better, I'm making more shots, I'm controlling whitey better, I'm seeing the table and the run-out patterns better. I'm breaking and running (or just running off opponent's dry break) much more often than I used to just a few short weeks ago.

How's about the rest of you? Anyone else whose game has just been going to town recently, compared to the recent past?

I played great this week compared to last -- but only becaue I was in a super slump. Still tho, felt great!

I bought a new break cue a few weeks ago, and got rid of my old one that had a phenolic tip on it.

With my old one, it was like, I either got a great break outa it and scratched, or I'd make a ball and get hooked, or leave the table wide open and it was like I just couldnt break well with it. And of course it really made me try to be overly carefull with my break.

Well, I bought an Elite break cue, that has a carbonfiber tip, and WOW! My break has gone to a new level, I control whitey 100% better and can break harder without wondering if i will scratch.

Plus in return since I am controlling the CB better and getting a better break, my confidence has gone way up, cuz I know, I am controlling the table more.

So yea my break has improved 100%, and my game has gone up by atleast 50%

i'm on fire, after a many year lay-off, I see improvment daily- I have no intention to level off, i'm taking lessions from Tang Hoa to keep the momentum going-I dont play like I did but I know with out a doubt sooner than later I'll be playing the best pool of my life, I'm older now 40, and much more solid, I dont feel the adrenelin build up as I run out, i', more smoothed out mentally and confident. its a great feeling. its just maturity and being under the gun in other things so many times it carried into my pool game thus"I dont rattle kid". ;)

I only started playing because I had 2 back operations and need one more and cant go to the gym, but I'm going to do both soon as my back is good. I wanted to play today but I couldnt too much pain I have been in bed for 2 days. tomarrow i'll be fine to play.

once upon a time I was a A- player on my best days, I know for a fact that I will be a A player on a good day and a A- player on a OK day and some days i just cant play, so i go home, thats what i did in the past when it just wasnt there

thanks, i need one more operation, but i'm going to tone it down at the gym, i trained hard enough for years and now i just want to stay fit, i play better when i'm fit and i'm not now, thats another reason why i will be playing the best pool of my life within a reasonably short period of time, i'm not going to pressure myself like I did before, which is one of the reasons I was never a solid A player. older and wiser but not too old, this pain thing is serious business. i dont take hard drugs like oxy's etc. i hate all the meds
