Nov 4-8 2009, BCAPL State 9 Ball Championships

I agree and we will make an anouncement on Monday. We just feel on a three person team a master is just to big an advantage. We are working on a solution, will take suggestions. Believe me, we do not want to exclude anyone. Thank you for all the input.

I just got an email saying there will be a Master's Team division now! Woo-hoo for all those master players that want to play, too!

Bad Boys will also offer a $50 qualifier for the 9-ball event at the US Bar Table Championships in Reno. The winner will get a room for the 9-ball event, Entry, and $200 towards airfair. If we have enough players interested we will hold a qualifier for each event. 10-ball, 9-ball, and 8-ball. Please e-mail chris@badboysbp.com inf you are interested. Thank you

Scotch Doubles

What are the restrictions with Scotch Doubles?

I'm an Open player, my partner is a Master... and different league numbers.

Unless They Change It

Unless they change it for this tournament, that won't be allowed.

Papa Red (Charlie) had that issue last year either for State or Vegas.

They have to play in the same league.

Ric or Chris can address the Master question

Team Limits

The question was posed: How many players can yo have since the flyer says to enter all 3 team members.

That is a typo mistake.

You can have up to 5 team members listed (2 Alternates)

I think they changed it for this tourney. At least that is what I was told when I asked a while back.

Also, an open and master can play in scotch - but that team would have to go to 7, not 5.

Which part are you answering Melinda?

If it's the different leagues, no that isn't changed. Has to be from same league number

I was told for teams it has to be the same league but for scotch it doesn't. Hopefully Chris can clear it up, since she's the one that told me all this.

Back home

Hey I'm back home and ready to answer any and all questions for the Texas 9-Ball State Championships.. so send them this way and I will get the answers to you..

Ok here are some answers to some Questions that have been asked

1. The Teams are set up for 3 players and yes you can have 5 players, but why not find 1 more person and make a new team? No Masters or higher in teams. 2 Core Member's are to be from the same league team number.

2. Scotch doubles... 1 Master is aloud and yes you will have to race to 7 instead of 5 for regular scotch doubles. In Scotch doubles you do not have to be from the same league number.

3. Yes we are having a Master Teams Division & also Master Singles.

Any other questions please email me at chris@badboysbp.com or visit our website and Forums @ http://www.badboysbp.com
