I was going to post about this earlier but have been too busy to do so.

In one of the preliminary bout Mike Davis was playing Corey D...First rack Corey breaks and the shot goes to Mike. As we all sit and watch Mike shoot all of a sudden he stops walks over to Corey and announces that was a foul...

This was on the feature table...I didnt see it...the commentator didnt see it...the folks watching didnt see it...and Im still not sure how exactly he did foul but playing Corey turning over the open table would be the last thing you would want to do but Mike Davis did...

Now thats what you call class...

and what pool should be

Why is it called class when someone follows the rules?

So he called a foul that no one else saw, he was being honest.

Mike is a classy guy...

I was on the sidelines about ten feet away when this happened. He asked if the rule was foul-on-all-balls. When he was told "yes", he said that he had touched the seven while bridging over it.

Absolutely no one else saw it. As he sat down he smiled and said "I've always been too damned honest...". Mike has a great demeanor and is always gracious to the fans. He's a real credit to the pro game.

I agree, Mike is a real class act. Its always nice to play people like him, Thorsten, Tony R., etc. It makes the game more enjoyable when you get to focus on playing and not sweating to make sure nobody pulls moves on you.
