I don't know that I disagree with that.
I still think that there is likely a ceiling for all of us, just as there is likely room for improvement for most people.
If your going to jump in like you know something follow the bouncing ball
I was talking about Shaq's free throw shooting ,, Tim's ability to just be a NFL Qb and Vijay's game compared to Tiger's all cases practice were not enough to change anything much

Just wonder what level do you play at ?
Tiger Woods was coached from the time he was a toddler. Possibly no other living human was immersed into golf from as young an age as Tiger.
Vijay Singh on the other hand did not have Tiger's same experience and yet, this was sent to me by email.
"Vijay Singh, CF, nicknamed "The Big Fijian", is a Fijian professional golfer who was ranked Number 1 in the Official World Golf Ranking for 32 weeks in 2004 and 2005
He has won three major championships (The Masters in 2000 and the PGA Championship in 1998 and 2004) and was the leading PGA Tour money winner in 2003, 2004 and 2008. He was elected to the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2005 (but deferred his induction until 2006). He won the FedEx Cup in 2008.
Vijay has 65 professional WINS...34 on the PGA TOUR...13 European Tour Wins...1 WORLD Golf Championship...5 Asian Tour Wins...12 Other Wins Worldwide
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vijay_Singh#Professional_wins_.2858.29
He turned professional in 1982 and has over $68 MILLIONS DOLLARS EARNED ON THE PGA TOUR ALONE!!!
http://www.pgatour.com/players/player.06567.vijay-singh.html
Couple the $68 MILLION in the USA with his European, Asian, and Worldwide wins and it's around
$100 MILLION TOTAL IN TOURNAMENT WINS ALONE...Which does NOT include endorsements and golf course design!!!"
I'd say he has done pretty well for himself for the hard work he put in.
I know all about Vijay that's why I used him a example of a guy close to the top who practiced more than Tiger ever dreamed of and has never been the player Tiger is one of the biggest reasons is he can't put , he's tried every stoke and putter know to man kind and still can't do it ,, why is that if practice is all it takes to be the best
If you think that Tiger was the only toddler to play golf your sadly mistaken for every tiger there's countless kids who put in the same time and fizzled out Tyron would be a perfect example ,, not every great junior turns into a great pro regardless off hours spent practicing , you don't have to believe it but never the less its fact

I think you're misunderstanding.
This isn't about if practice and dedication can make you the best in the world, because obviously that's false. It's about whether it can allow you to play at a high enough level to compete with the best.
I hate repeating myself, but there isn't a top player past or present that didn't completely dedicate themselves to this game at some point in their career.
36 high in 14.1, but I'm getting in the 20s pretty consistently now.
Multiple 8 and outs in 1pocket
3 pack in 9ball, but multiple singles and I've beaten the 7ball ghost a few times.
I'd guess I'm a B player, and that's with literally only playing 5-7 hours a week, but I've improved quite a bit in the last year with that limited playing time.
Not trying to insult you Mr. Lvr, but you have a loooong way to go, before you are even capable of judging how 'high' or 'low' the ceiling is, at becoming a "world class pool player" !..You talk about "beating them"...allow me to point out something !...Winning a game or two from them, would not mean any more than me winning a hole or two from Tiger Woods !..We all know that would NOT make me a touring pro !
In fact, (if you've caught any of it) the difference's have been pointed out numerous times, in Genomachino, and Rhea's travels !..The points you made in your previous post, were WAY off base !.. Don't take my word for it, ask somebody like Billy Incardona, or Freddy the Beard !...Its been discussed many times on the 'other' forum !..Moving up, from B to A, is doable for a lot of people... but moving up to AA, to AAA, to "world beater", becomes increasingly more difficult, with each notch !
Nothing wrong with where your game is at now, for no more than you've devoted to it,..but to think its easy to elevate it from there..is something you can't possibly fanthom,..until you actually DO IT !..Anything else is pure conjecture !.....
(jes' tryna help)![]()
don't make me state THE OBVIOUS
GO GET LAID
it's just this simple
Never said it would be easy.
I'm just positive that if I had put in 10 hours a day vs. 7 a week this past year, I'd be a whole hell of a lot better than I am today.
World beater? Probably not.

"Hallmark of a champion?
This ability to anticipate is an example of heightened awareness in game situations, which defines sporting greats perhaps more than any other quality or skill, and tennis is no exception. Roger Federer himself has stated that his powers of anticipation are critical to the superiority of his game: “I have the impression that I sense how a ball is coming and my reactions are automatic”. [5] The great Australian coach Tony Roche knows better than most what makes a tennis champion, and has said of Roger: “He’s never in a hurry…The hallmark of champions in every kind of sport is that they have more time than others”.
Another shining example of this hallmark was Wayne Gretzky, one of the most dominant athletes in all of professional sport. He was said to have an incredible ability to skate “ahead of the puck”, turning up at the right spot before the puck got there. But Gretzky, more than anyone, was aware that it was not because he had faster reactions or was a faster skater than the rest. He readily admits: “I wasn’t naturally gifted in terms of size and speed; everything I did in hockey I worked for” ”The highest compliment you can pay me is to say that I worked hard every day…That’s how I came to know where the puck was going before it even got there”. [3]"
Defiantly not

So why do black athletes dominate most sports that require athletic ability
Oh that's right they just work harder I forgot
