I have a lightly used mst 23 nsk spindle rated at 30,000 rpm's. This is an air spindle which comes with the silencer attached. I don't beleive it's any louder than a regualr spindle. I originally purchased this spindle for one of my mills, however, i've gotten sidetracked and have never used it. I purchased this from a friend that does R & D work, and was told it had only a few hours of use. I have powered it up and i assure anyone that buys it, there are no issues. It does come in the oriinal case along with two small collets, a wrench and the spec sheets, i'm not sure of the sizes of the collets.
If you gogle this spindle, they now call it the msst23, you'll see it sells new for over $1000. Since this is just sitting collecting dust (not realy it's in a case) i'm willing to sell it for $300.
It wouldn't take much to make the adapter to fit any mill. i actually designed one, in mastercam, for the mill i originally inteneded to use it for.
If you're lookin for accuracy, nsk is the way to go, especially at this price.
i will post pics later, after i take a couple.
