Number of cues to a match....

Ok... I know this has been discussed before but I just got my copy of the 2007 "Rules and Records Book" from the BCA.

I started reading and noticed on page 5 for "BCA Equipment Specs" that:
"A player may bring a maximum of 3 cue sticks to a match."

Then on page 23, rule 1.4 "Permitted Use of Equipment" states:
"Each player is permitted to use one or more cue sticks which meet the specifications listed in the equipment specification section."

Rule 1.4 also states for use in a WPA sanctioned event.

So, does that mean that "one or more" is actually one to three cues, reverting back to the equipment specs? Or does it imply that for WPA sanctioned events only, there is no limit of cues by the use of the phrase "one or more?"

A previous thread was talking about players bringing 3, 4, or more sticks to a match which is why I brought it up. I also thought that it was mentioned that the BCA adopted the WPA rules or vice versa?

Doesn't really matter to me one way or the other because I only have 3 cues anyway. I suppose I am just reading too much into it. I am really just curious about what everyone thinks.

Thanks,
Craig
