OB-1+ vs. 314-3 deflection

For anyone that has played with both shafts, can you tell me if the deflection is about the same..

OB claims that the + shafts have 13% less deflection than their 1st generation shafts.

Predator claims a 3 or 4% less deflection on their 3rd generation shafts than the 2nd generation.

I have both and I can't tell them apart, for me no difference. Go with whichever calls to you. Both very low deflection, solid hit, consistent, forgiving. I switch back and forth all the time. Don't have a favorite.

Just for deflection properties alone the Predator has a small edge. The OB has nice feel to it and maybe slightly longer taper. From there its all about user preference. I like to spin the rock and thus would go for the Predator. Disclaimer: The Predator shafts I tried where applied to my cue and others. The OB+ was on a friends. My cues have very stiff forearms and the delta could be there (not much but some effect).

The difference is small enough that it could come down to which tip you apply. Both are good products and you can't go wrong with OB's customer service.

I have only hit with a friend's Predator. I have played with several different OB's. They all hit great. Very low deflection. I think once you change any of them by putting your tip of choice. You won't be able to tell a difference.

The predator definitely deflects less IMO
but to be honest, there both pretty awful shafts but if I was forced by gun, I would take the predator. If you do an inside English test the OB 1+ deflects alot and the 3143 deflects more than the 3142 100%
