I play with mainly 10 mm tips, but I have a selection of tip types and different radius. I find that if I am missing long shots, then I try a larger rad tip. On a smaller bar type 7ft table I like a dime. On a 9 ft I prefer a nickle .I hope this helps you.

Yep-Helpfull.....
The larger radius tip on the 12.75 works better for me than
the smaller tipped 11.75.....If I find myself "just missing" with
a "overcut" I go back to my JW 13mm stock shaft. The 12.75
works best for me when I find myself undercutting. With the
11.75 I just seem to overcut to much. Not sure why that is
just happens for me. The 11.75 just puts to much spin on
long shots for me. It's great for moving the ball around the
table but, I seem to sacrifice to much when faced with a
longer shot especially one that requires a strong hit to place
the cue ball for my next shot.
