Ob-136

OB Cue feedback

I have an OB-135. OB Cues has created some very nice cues in the new line up. I play with my OB-135 and my OB-127 all the time (with OB-2 shafts). These are great cues and they are very well built. The new line for 2013 features inlay and finishing work to satisfy the demands of the market that likes this sort of thing (which I do), but the new cues are built with the same core technology as the 2012 cues. The 2013 cues are an "evolution" in OB's ability to produce their own "stylish" cues with nice inlay work.

If you want a pretty/fancy OB cue, the new ones can meet that need. If you want a great playing cue with OB's quality build and technology, then you don't have to wait. Call OB and ask for "Doc"... he can let you know what cues from the 2012 line are in stock and/or he can direct you to a supplier who has available inventory.

As with any cue, if you have a chance to try the cue then do so. OB makes a great, consistent product in my opinion, but you won't know if you like the way it feels unless you can try an OB cue. "Feel" is very subjective. That being said, I highly recommend OB cues. I also strongly suggest actually trying one if you can.

I have an OB-121 Pool Cue Sneaky Pete. I have been playing with it for about a 4 months now and I like it very much. I was looking at the OB-136 Ebony & Blood and thought it was a nice looking cue and just wondered if anyone had one and what they thought.

thanks for the reply.

Sorry for bumping an old thread but I've been taking a serious look at this cue as well. I've never shot with an OB cue before but I do use an OB-2 shaft with a Kamui SS Clear tip on my Joss. It took some getting used to but I love the way it hits now. Any information on this cue from someone who owns one or has tried one would be greatly appreciated.
