OB-2 shaft on Cuetec

I hope I'm posting this in the right section.

I tried out an OB-2 shaft on a Uni-Loc joint recently and loved the way it hit. I would love to get one of these shafts, but my question is: would it would feel the same if I were to put an OB-2 on my Cuetec (it's an old Earl Strickland model that I use for breaking), or would it be more beneficial to purchase a whole new cue?

You don't need a new cue unless you want one.
You're already used to holding the CueTec so that's a plus.
I do a few of these for Seyberts on a semi-regular basis and I think they might be one of the only dealers doing custom fit to mate & match L/D shafts for CueTecs, though there may be some who have begun offering this service lately.
