ob break shaft or new bk3?

i currently have a andy gilbert.jump break that i use..but im looking at either putting an ob break shaft on it or going with the.new.predator bk3..anyone have expierences with.the.ob and/or the.new bk3?...if so looking for opininions on my choices between.the 2...thanks for any info

I can highly recommend the OB Break shaft. I use one on my Hunter Classic B/J cue.

I didn't hit with Ob, but BK3 is way better than BK2. I hope this helps.

If you like your Gilbert and it breaks well then I would just replace the shaft with the OB break shaft. Let's put it this way I can break and even jump well with the OB shaft.

I break with an ob break shaft with samsara tip, and I am very satisfied. Have tried the bk2, but not the bk3. Would like to try the bk3, but no way I'll buy as long as I am that happy with the ob break shaft. I do also play with ob1 shaft on my player.
I guess I would go for the ob break shaft, and for sure I would do if I was satisfied with the Gilbert butt.

Have You thought about putting a samsara tip on your Current Breaker?? I think it would increase Your Break Power also save you some money,,, as far as the BK3 its Cool Looking and it Breaks Strong, as Far as the OB Break Shaft I have not used one but I play with an OB1 & Classic and they make an Awesome Cue Shaft So0.. I thinks its fair to say you wont be disappointed

I have a friend with an 07 Gilbert and he had Andy replace the tip with a Samsara tip. That's the same tip on the ob. With that tip on the there that stick is a monster with breaking and jumping. I would prefer that over the bk2, haven't tried bk3, in my opinion. It literally crushes racks and jumps very well. Not stealing someone's opinion who mentions this idea above just thought id give opinions being someone who has tried that stick.
