OB classic pro shaft????

Hey guys, my play cue is a med/high end jacoby cue. I have never shot with the classic shaft and but like z2's but think the regular ob 2 and 1 are too soft. I have heard great reviews on the ob classic pro... Has anyone had experience with one?

Buy one from OzoneBilliards and return it if you do not like it. I think they have a 90 day return policy.

Yes, I think you'll like it. Stiffer and more solid than an OB2 or Predator Z but still pretty low squirt.

The other one to consider is the Tiger Pro X - it's also solid and a little more lively than the Classic Pro, very low squirt like the Z2.

I have an OB Classic Pro on my lucasi... no deflection, pretty stiff hit, compared to the standard lucasi shaft: it feels like a skinny tank.

I've got an OB Classic Pro for my Bender and it squirts the cue ball very little. Also, currently I use a Kamui Black Soft tip and that works very well. I plan to try a Super Soft Black Kamui soon. It has a good feel to it.
 
Yes, tried and liked the OB classic pro.
Too small for me at 11.75mm.
Since you have a Jacoby, why don't you simply get one of those Hybrid Edge shafts?
To me it was very similar to the OB.
I only tested and did not shoot with it too long.
Also thought that this might help your resale value as well later some day.

I have been using and OB 1 for 5 years now and love their products. I have been testing the OB Classic and really like it. Will be switching to it next week when Royce gets back from Vegas. The Classic pro is too small for me at 11.75 but the Classic is 12.75
 
I have always played with a solid maple shaft. I just purchased the classic pro and like it very much. It didn't take me long to adjust which was nice. Excellent product from a dependable manufacture.
