OB Classic Pro vs Predator Z Anyone done the test?

Ok great u have both would u say one deflects more or about the same?

I just did a test comparison between the two that I have(OB pro and 1st gen Predator Z)

The OB Pro shaft deflected about 1/2 ball over 7ft with an 7-8 speed stroke and 1 tip side english.
The Predator shaft was about 3/4 ball under same conditions. I shot 10 times each for consistency

There is no classic pro, there's the classic, and there's the pro.
It would be good to specify which one you mean.
Or did you just forget a coma? If that's the case.
I would say there's no way the classic (12.75) and the pro at (11.75) play the same.

On their own website they are grouping the OB1 and the OB Classic,
by calling them both low deflection.

Also the OB 2 and the OB Pro, by calling them ultra low deflection.



1) OB1 ---> 12.75 long wood ferrule modified pro taper
2) OB2 ---> 11.75 long wood ferrule modified conical taper
3) OB Classic ---> 12.75 short wt. ferrule modified pro taper
4) OB Pro ---> 11.75 short wt. ferrule modified conical taper

Err.. I own an OB Classic pro.Its says Classic Pro right under the OB sign. I assure you they do make them.

If you go to the OB website, while it may say OB Pro...look at the pic. It still say OB Classic Pro on the shaft. That may be where the misunderstanding is coming from.

It does say OB Classic Pro on the shaft -- they changed the name, but not on the shaft.

Yea I've always known it as the classic pro the guy on the other page is one that said there was no classic pro that its the ob pro and I also wanna thank everyone for the info also wanna thank Cornerman for the texts from the expo as too the shafts thanks all :thumbup:
