OB Classic Pro vs Tiger X Ultra LD vs Z2?????

I have been here at the apa nationals for over a week now. My intent was to buy a predator sneaky with a z2 shaft. I had been trying it out every day for several days. Then I tried the other offerings herecand settled on the Ob pro. My only concern now is whether 30 inch shaft would increase deflection.
 
I'd forget the tiger off the hop,its not that LD at all.
If your looking for the lowest LD on the market than its the Z2.
It deflects the lowest but you lose a bit of feel.
Now the OB will have a greater feel advantage but you will comprimise
that with more deflection.
Trust me about the tiger,it won't be long before Dennis Orcullo is
changing his shafts 30 times a set.The Tigers got some hype
but don't waste your money if its low deflection you want.

I've been shooting with Tiger shafts for close to 5 years now. I personally think the feel is better than the other two. I tried the OB classic and Predator.I do agree that Tiger deflects more than the Predator. Try a Tiger if you get a chance,it will surprise you.


As far as Dennis Orcullo... I don't think either of these shafts would be the reason for his winning or losing:D. If you can play...you can play..

The Tiger Pro X is the one that matches these other shafts. The OB Classic Pro and Z2 are 11.75 mm tips, the Tiger Ultra LD is 12.75 mm.

In my opinion, the Tiger Pro X is the best choice of these 3 for looks, feel and squirt. The Classic Pro would be my next choice - I like the way it plays but the appearance takes some getting used to, and the Z, which has a hollow end, would be my last choice.

Are you looking for a shaft with the small tip?

yes I just wanna to see the difference between those 3, my 314-2 is custom one, the shaft dia now is 11.75, idk if the ferrule is shorter since its second-handed, and yes I wanted a shaft as low deflection as 314-2 or better, read a lot of feedback on Z-2,have tried it myself but i don't really like the feel of it:frown:. Some said Tiger is much more deflection than those 2, is that true??? Can OB Classic Pro better than Z-2 in any points???
 
SS360 is the way to go , an amazing shaft with LD qualitys as the Z2 but with a lot of feedback . You can order the shaft from 10mm upto 13mm and the price is 160 dollar so it's cheaper than the predator shafts , cheaper and 100 timers better !!! What more do you want ?

Some people are confused about the Tiger shafts. They have a confusing name system. The Pro X is very low squirt and is a 11.75 mm tip. The Ultra LD is comparable to a 314, and the original Ultra is not a low squirt shaft.

The Pro X and the Predator Z have the lowest amount of squirt, but all 3 have a manageable amount of squirt. I'll publish some information tomorrow comparing them to the SS360.

I've tried them all and I like the Tiger-X Ultra with a special tip...my own design. The original tip was great for about a month, then went dead on me, so I had to fix.:thumbup:

loll i thought the Ultra x was the lastest of tiger, read a review on tiger x-pro from you, it looks great, i might be go to one of the pool hall near my house where they have all the great pool cue brands for sale and try, i personally like the look of OB classic pro :thumbup:, thanks TATE

Tiger X Pro comes in 11.75mm only. And it is the nutz. I had someone order one tonight that has an OB shaft on thier cue. The X Pro is definitely a great shaft

It's a custom shaft made by Bob Danielson in Washington state:

Bob has been making these for many years yet is hardly known on a national basis. I've been testing one for several weeks now. I think certain players will like this custom shaft a lot.
