OB Jump Cues are out - meet the OB Lift

"Lift" is an illegal stroke? I've always heard the term "scooping" to be an illegal shot.

You believe "To lift" the cue ball is a legal method to get over another ball?

Lift, scoop, all the same thing. Any action of mechanically or physically lifting the cue ball off the table is not considered to be legal method of "Jumping". Poor choice of branding IMO.

Is the longer version intended to double as a break cue? Or is it for extra-tall jumpers?

Sure, I'd prefer it in a natural stain but function is more important than looks IMHO. Besides, my opponents might think "what a rube!" and let down their guard.

I hung out and used it for a bit and yeah it is pretty effortless to use. As for the color, my jacoby jumper is the same color so I liked it. If the color is what stops you then so be it. Jumps quite well. As for lift being an illegal stroke, I feel that you can't really lift with a stroke. To me lift implies a force pulling upward. You could lift the cue ball with your hand I suppose. Hehehe

That's getting nit picky.

Would you rather it be called the OB "rebound" or the OB "bounce of the slate"?
