I'm not very pool tech savy, but I started playing pool a little more than 1 year ago. My brother plays with an OB-2 shaft and reffered me to them for my first cue. I always thought it hit sort of light and I never really felt confident in it to be honest but I thought, hey its a great shaft from when I've heard and read. Recently we played a touney in which I was 2 and out, however after the tourney I played the rest of the night with a 1 piece wood bar cue, it amazed me how solid the hit felt and how well I shot with it, I felt "more connected" like shots were going exactly where I wanted with great leaves. So I read up on OB's site the OB-2 is drilled out and a "softer, lighter quiet hit" and the Classic Pro isn't drilled out and is a Stiffer hit, Gotta say, It did not Dissapoint. The Classic Pro(Moori med tip) Hits solid as can be, great action still good LD qualities. Thought I would share to maybe help out some newer players like I am in picking out a shaft maybe. I had more ERO's (8-ball, 7ft table)the last Saturday than I have my ENTIRE pool (1 year) career 4 in one night, 2 in a row at one point ( this was after a scotch doubles touney in which we placed 5th) Thanks to OB for a great product and timly shipping!
