I don't Know Mark....well i didn't untill last week. Since then both az and cb have been inundated with his posts and the endless stream of silly responses. What gives? Untill he can express himself and contribute in a constructive manour it dosn't matter if he's Mosconi himself. I havn't seen anything in his hundreds of posts, or the hundreds of reply's that have added one ioda of information that anyone could use for thier game. What a waste of time......I'd rather read 3 shortstops that are willing (and able) to articulate ideas than 100 Tadds looking for ego strokes and trading on past glory's. Where's the Beef!

I wouldn't worry about running him off folks. It's been my esperience (6 years on the boards) that "names" come and go. They have hard earned reputations that, due to the nature of humans, needs to be maintained. At best, they will hang around for a while, give and take some, then move on. Most if not all lurk, and or post under assumed names because it gets them involved without letting thier "name" distract the more star struck of us. Not to mention the ever present a-holes that live to denigrate thier success.

Look, if Mark was anyone else but Mark, he would have been laughed off the board within two days. As it is i like seeing ANYONE with something to say. But thread after thread? From the same guy? It would be different if it was instructive. Instead of the a$$ ki$$ing, pussy footing, is he who he say's he is, does he post too much, not enough, WHO THE F&CK CARES! get over him. He puts his pants on one leg at a time like anyone else. St~~bracing for the Taddpole backlash~~

you wasted a new post for this . this is a pool forum and sometimes people who are or were in the game get reconized and talked about. as for posts, ive been to busy trying to defend myself. so now that thats over do you have a question about pool???????????????????????????????????

Pretty brutally frank post, Stretch!

I don't know Mark Tadd and wouldn't recognize him if he stood in front of me. I do know about Mark Tadd the pool player and have learned much about his pool activities from yesteryear from those who actually did know him, and IMO he is an accomplished player. After taking a hiatus from the game, he discovers AzBilliards Discussion Forum, sees his name in black and white, and wants to participate in the FRIENDLY colloquy, which is one of the NICE experiences of posting on a pool-related chatroom.

I remember the first time I discovered a pool-related discussion forum, just by chance, I might add, while surfing the Internet one day doing some research for a pool-related project. Having absolutely no posting experience whatsoever, my 150-words-per-minute fingers went on a rampage as I responded to the clowns, trolls, want-to-be scribes, pool scientists, and those who by their own admission like to "play with their toys," only wanting to create havoc and cause consternation. This minority on the Internet use the discussion forums as an entertainment device and receive gratification, many times posting nasty untruths and hurtful falsities. After meeting some of these folks in person, observing their megalomanic tendencies and narcissist characteristics, I now do regret that I even bothered to respond, but when in Rome, I did as the Romans do and fought back with 10 fingers at full force!

If I had it to do over again, I would have posted under an alias and become a troll, I guess, rather than having the names drug in the mud of me and mine. Like Mark, I only wanted to participate and contribute, and it wasn't too long before I found myself in a pit of despair, wondering why some folks seem to get their kicks from sucker-punching others under the guise of an Internet name while in the safe haven of their computer.

My advice to Mark is to consider the source when you're reading posts from a few sour pusses. There are MANY other genuinely nice posters on all of the pool-related boards, and it is possible to have a happy posting experience, but only when you are able to separate the good, the bad, and the ugly. ;)

Sure i do Mark. could you tell me what accounted for the biggest improvement in your game? Could you point to anything that suddenly clicked like a light going off, and it took you over the top? St~~still looking for the missing piece of the puzzle~~

Jeezy peezy, Stretch. Maybe Mark Tadd is too busy dodging bullets and arrows from mean-spiritied posters that he hasn't had the opportunity YET to participate in a pool-related topic. More to the point, the tone of this thread is negative, you must admit.

I know of five pro players who are posting under aliases, and there may be others. This thread is a good example of why.

Yes, Stretch, Mark Tadd puts his leg in his pants the same as you and others, and by the same token, he is a human being. Some of these posts I've read as of late give the appearance of a pack of male dogs, chomping at the bit, ready to attack. Maybe if given the chance, when the dust settles from the recent onset of negative posts, Mark Tadd will be able to post comfortably and enjoy his experience here at AzBilliards. Isn't that what it's supposed to be all about?

I have not read anything that Mark has written on this forum that says he looking for his ego to be stroked. Maybe your looking for something from Mark that he does not owe you. If he tells you something that can help or improve your game cool, but he or anybody else on this forum owes you nothing. I think it’s great that people come on this forum and share whatever they have to say in a positive way and that’s all I have seen Mark do. I dig the way he says something and may leave us all hanging, coming back for more or can start or branch into a new thread. He asks for people to give or share their opinions on what he has written. What more does one want from anyone? I think some people “hate” or are envious the attention others get.

From some of the posts I have read about Mark, I think the real hangup everyone had including me is that he was an imposter. We all know now that Mark is the real deal!
