odd balls, ID and buy

have had these for over 20 years. picked up in an pawn shop. asking $50
for the 16 balls. they are in good condition but are not what i'd call playing balls. more for collection. gerald 901 412 9618

While they are old,they are DEFINITELY not antique,being clay or ivory. Sold in the 60s and 70s as an inexpensive ball. You will notice this on silkscreened balls as the paint chips off where they are colored. Box not original but neat.
Some of these silkscreend sets are also lighter in weight.

your right they are not ivory or clay i know that much , but then they are not silk screened either. these are nicely made, very round, no lop sidedness, and have been played with as can tell by the markings where the balls were hit. the numbers are actually inlaid thus subject to chipping, that's why i say not to play with them. a couple do have some chips on the edges of the number. whether they have high value or not i dont know. like i said these are more for a collector set then a daily play set.

Those look like the original pool balls that I used to hit around as a kid in our basement. I cant remember the name of the table (off brand) that these came with.
