Science says: with the same curvatures, a smaller tip is identical to a larger tip with a tiny outer layer removed. Tip contacts inside the miscue limit have identical margins of error. The only difference is how close to the tip's edge you have to hit at the miscue limit on the CB, which also makes very little if any difference.I think science would say otherwise man. The smaller the tip, the more you need to be center to avoid miscuing ( striking the cue ball where the angle drops off and hitting the miscue limit). The bigger tip will miscue less as it has a larger area to play with before hitting said limit.
