How come no one here is using www.cueauctions.com? Everybody throws there cues on ebay, the SAME ebay EVERYONE complains about when a scam is going. The same Ebay that raises their rates monthly. No one is throwing Scott a bone. Scott does a great refinish, and has excellent customer service. But why does no one use his auction system? C'mon guys, I think its worth the switch.

JV (--- If I auctioned, it would be with Scott..

I prefer to take my chances on ebay then this place and as for scott 's place is concerned, it hardly gets looked at.

I have to admitt that I have tried, But I found it so g@d D2mb hard to post pics compared to ebay that I swore it off! Now I think scot is as highly reputable as a man can ever be, but he could REALY REALY use a web master like the one doing ebays site. if it takes a genius...then count me out, lol.
If was easy, And, since it is so small, I would only be willing to pay if my item sold. I dont care if a two year old can do it! Show me the one a sixty year old can do!

I love you'r work scot (old adams) Jay.

IMHO, it will take a major paradigm shift. The reason people keep using the flawed eBay system is because that is where the overwhelming majority of the market shops.... Most people would rather maximize their money making potential, if they are going to be "locked" into selling something in an auction.

Just my $.02

well, i have to think if more of us used scott's site, more buyers would look. i have been guilty of not thinking of scott's site myself. i have bid on several cues there, but never tried to sell one. maybe i will try my next cue there. i wonder how many az-ers check that site out? i do have it in my "favorites" and look a couple of times per month. he does have some nice cues there.

Okk I get it..

But now I don't want to see any more complaints.. lol..

J/k.. well look I am all for supporting our own, maybe Scott will see this and maybe his guy can make it easier. I have never had an issue with it, but we need to take advantage of the fact its there, JMHO.

yeah.. it still says List and sell for nothing, nada...

I know who's got the biggest mouth.....

I've added one, as well. Maybe we can all steer some biz Scot's way. He's definitely one of the good guys and does super work on cues. Just quickly listed a Palmer and there wasn't any problems with the service. Kudos to Scot. We should all use this service more.

I have used Cue Auctions several times last year.Dont know why folks wouldnt.Scott is a great guy.M.S.

"If it aint broke dont fix it" Ebay works the best in my experiences. I believe you need the greatest number of potential buyers to secure a sale. Ebay provides this plus it's easy to use. I recently offered 5 Coker cues for sale on AZ and did not get one offer. Four have sold on ebay for between 50 and 100 dollars more than the prices offered on AZ.

I learned my lesson here also. If you ain't discounting the hell out of the cue, it ain't gonna fly here on Az. It's been that way since I joined.

I have never sold a cue on ebay or cueauctions, but if I were to do it, I would list on both since Scot normally runs them free of charge. Ebay definitely gets more visitors and potential buyers. I would expect to get a little more for a cue on ebay due to nothing more than added exposure.

This is a good question and I guess the site needs a little advertising to get people interested in using Scott's site. I've used it and I had some success selling a nice cue and I didn't have to pay any high ebay fees using cueauctions.com. Scott is a good guy and his site is very similar to ebay's in the way it works and I hope that you may stir up some interest in using cueauctions.com with this post. I honestly don't think about it and I used to go there and check to see what was for sale, but I lost interest in it after seeing the same cues for sale almost every time I went to the site.
