Ok, little tired of missing deals...WTB 2x4 BROWN leather case!

What happened with the Swift case? You and I were both PMing him at the same time after he listed it. He refused to give me a price to buy the case so I just said no thanks no longer interested.

he said the first poster won it. and u were the first one to post so i assumed u won/bought it.

He's just playing games I guess. I said I am a serious buyer with cash in hand. What's it going to take to purchase the case and he refused to give me a price. So I offered him $175 as a starting point and he said he had so many PM's coming in that he would get back to me. I said just forget it. Good luck with your sale. I did this once with a Sugar Tree plain jane I had and many people drilled me about it. So I ended that thread and started a new one with a price and never done that since. I ended up selling it for $700 shipped with two shafts. It was brand spanking new. Just received it that month. I took it to DCC with me and didn't like the taper on the shafts. That was this year. So decided to sell it instead of having a different maker sand it down. Now I'm representing and dealing Waynes cues and I couldn't be happier.

Thought you snagged it bud. After cursing my slow typing, it seems that he just sold to the highest bidder. C'est la vie. It would be hypocritical for me to say otherwise, as I have had a few sales recently with multiple bids even though I had a set price. My only beef, is that I find it easier if a price is set in the post.

Would be nice to actually grab one of these deals that pop up here. IF you come across a Swift or Justis case like that let me know! ;)

i hate that highest bidder crap. especially on an item thats only worth 250 or so cuz u just know that u probably lost out by 10 dollars. dealing with stuff like that just isnt worth the time and effort. like even when i take offers if i see one i like i go ahead with it, doesnt matter if i get a better offer afterwards and the current guy hasnt paid me yet.

I agree. The only problem with that is if the offers are under the original asking price. If someone steps up to offer the posted price, I'll accept that.

well it depends, if they offered lower and u havent accepted yet, then u can maybe let them know someone offered full amount and let them match it since they were first in line. but once u've accepted it, regardless of how little it is, i dont think u should change ur decision and sell to someone else. of course not everyone sees that the same way.

Yeah, I put up a nice condition Predator BK cue for $110 shipped. My PM's were blown up. I started to get higher offers. I asked in the thread what I should do about it and many said the right thing to do was sell for the set price to the first person who said they wanted it. So that's what I did. DoubleDave got it. I had offers of $160 too.

He didn't say first poster. He said first in line. Maybe someone PM'd him.

Hmm I though it was still for sale?

Or i think it still is at our local Pool forum.

Or maybe it was just not updated. Maybe you can PM him and try. But from his asking price i think its a little way off what you would be willing to pay.

Best regards
Chris

Well, unlikely that it's sold considering the seller just posted a revised price yesterday. Works out to be around $350.
