Old Ball Sets

Is there any market for old ball sets? I have a coworker who obtained around 25 old balls via an estate. Not sure at this time if they are ivory, clay or celluloid. There was however one of the balls that is a striped 16 ball?

My buddy is bringing them into work tomorrow and will post photo's later.

Doubtful, unless they're something special. An average clay set is a nice vintage item and brings $50-$60 on the 'Bay. Bakelite would be worth something, I just don't know how much, and ivory . . . well, that would be a nice find. Check out some pics of just some of mine here if you're curious.

The 16 ball belongs to Efran Rayez. He needed a way to make the game of 15 ball rotation more challenging . . . ;)
