That looks like my old Swift that I sold to Hal. Great case! I've got a 20 plus year old Jay Flowers too but that case has my name on it.

Well there are two guy here in the Valley with OLD Swift that look like they have been to hell, and back. But they are NSF, as they get used daily.

That Old Swift you are showing above, are the Pockets Line? As I heard a rumor that at one time Dennis Lined the Pocket with Red Felt?

The pockets are not lined on that Swift case. The only thing I didn't like about that case was the pockets. They can be unpleasant to get things in and out of. Aside from that, it's a great case and served me very well!

Well as you are talking pocket the bottom one open like my Thomas, and that is EASY, the Top look like the Zipper goes in a Half Circle so what was the beef if I may ask? Pocket not Deep enough.

My beef was the pockets were small and the zipper threads rough. For people with larger hands, they can be a bit of a pain getting in and out of sometimes. Especially, the bottom pocket. The top one not as bad.

This is why I have never used metal zippers in any of my cases. I didn't like the metal ones on my Flowers, which was the case I owned when I started making cases.

I prefer nylon zippers that self-heal if they get cross-threaded. My Flowers had zippers on the front of the pockets. I can't see how anyone likes to stick their hand into a pocket with sharp metal teeth and a small opening.

I am working on a new version of a pocket based on the zipper design in Tumi shaving kit pouches. We are almost there and I think it will be a big hit when we perfect it.
