Looks like someone cut the frame. I believe this model had a 1 piece frame.
I almost purchase a similar one but walked away since I would have to make a similar cut to get it where it needed to go.

Super rare 'folding table' model. good catch, this thing is nothing but a place where $100bills go to die.
