old canadian pool cue>

Does anyone know much about this pool cue? Like year made, any value, is it rare? Its always made conversation at my house and we've had it since the early 80's. Just trying to dig up some info on it.

It's a Japanese cue made with Canadian maple. And I'm sorry to say, It's not worth much outside of sentimental and entertainment value. AKA a cheap Asian import.

its uber-cool in its raw funkiness. leave as is or convert with a new joint and good shaft.
