I could use any help info that you folks can provide on this cue I recently acquired. Seller knew nothing about it no brand or ID mark. I bought without inspecting in person. Once I received it I realized it was not junk and checked it out. I played a few games with it I am wondering if I should clean it up which would be the plan unless I get the 'do not touch it' from someone who might know if I have anything other that a old cue. Here is what I do have on it. I can snap more pics if needed.

Weight is 19.1 oz
Shaft 12mm and straight with pin. Real tight old growth maple which seems to line up from butt through forearm and shaft ?
Balance is around 18"
Forearm is BEM
Wrap feels different that linen possibly silk ?
Plays very nice and I have a have several custom makers cues.

Thank you in advance for your time and any information you might be able to share with me.

Sheesh - What's with all the "Help ID Cue" posts this morning? 5 almost in a row.
I agree with Dan.

I hereby nominate Dan for Forum Police, at least in this section anyway.
He genuinely seems to want the job and dog-gone-it, he's good at it. Lol

Thanx & you're welcome. I'm glad that you took it in the intended context.
As much as my 'nomination' was a weak attempt at humor, I was also being honest in saying that you were/are good at it.
You handled the requests (all of them) with tact and gave helpful direction. Bravo.
It does puzzle me though that just because someone would choose to be a cue-maker,
that they would automatically know who made every cue, what it's worth (seen or unseen)
and what it should go for on the current market. I guess I missed that section.
I recently had a job come my way where the client wanted me to authenticate a vintage cue
and provide a letter of authenticity. Sorry, but that's just a little above my pay-grade.

All's good Dan, have a wonderful day. I miss Frisco but then, `67 was a long time ago.
