Old cues still around

**My stick is on the right, with darker wood.**

I was at a bar Saturday night talking to an older lady who was playing in a tournament there. She mentioned she had two Meucci cues. I grabbed mine out the case (darker cue in photos) and showed her mine. She gets hers out. I was excited. I've only seen one other M3 first hand. It was in a pawn shop. She received hers from a friend. I asked to see her shaft. It too is a 12mm shaft. I thought mine was an odd ball at that size. I find I shoot different with my lighter weighted Meucci than I do with my 21oz Joss. I believe the Meucci is 18-18.5oz. Anyone else break out their retired cues from time to time?

I shoot with old Meucci Originals every day. I always liked Meucci cues but I liked Joss even more. Today I like to shoot with older cues a lot. I'm sure it's the nostalgia, and I like the designs of the ones I buy.

I would collect old block letter and gold letter Joss cues but the Meucci's seem a little easier and less expensive to collect. This forum has been pretty helpful. I've picked up a JR-3 with 2 shafts and a DH-1 I just had refinished from members on here.
