I have a old custom Jump Break. Dont have any idea who made the cue. The cue was well used. But it was definitely well constructed. The cue has been used as a player instead of JB. Im about sure it was made in the 80's because i got it from the same person that i got a old early 80's Adams Monte Carlo from. The shaft is 12mm and straight. It has an everest tip. I was going to get another shaft and put a phenolic ferrule tip combo on it for the breaking and jump. The joint and shaft collars are a black linen based material. The back of the forearm has a larger diameter taper so the joint doesnt contact the table but the end of the shaft by no means leaves the table. The forearm and butt section rolls dead straight when unassembled. I installed a new leather wrap and found out a great surprise. It is solid rosewood from the birdseye to the bumper. The wrap groove was just cut into the rosewood. The cue is naturally weighted at 18.7oz. This is definitely one of the best cues ive ever had that puts extreme draw etc. on the cue ball. Probably due to the larger taper on the forearm. You cant even feel or see where the cue breaks apart for jump.
