Old design cue with clear window

Does any cue maker still make cues with clear windows?

This design seems to have gone out of style since palmer and paradise era but i really like that old fashion look.

Is it because the material is no longer available like the old micarta?

The material is still available but think the style has passed. I have repaired several old Palmers and Rich cues over the years where I have to replace that window because the original has cracked. I have the material in solid rod and can bore it to whatever I need.

I have the material in tube. I was thinking boring it would not produce that crystal clear window without somehow finishing the inside. Just curious how you take care of that on the inside. You can PM me if you wish. The scrathes on the outside go away with finish. I will build that style cue, provided I add my standard modern touches.

Will you work on a titlist by any chance?

I have 2 titlist on order now and they are being worked on by 2 good cuemakers but they do not do clear window however.

I might. Only problem is a lot of Titlist blanks are too small in the joint.

I like that look also, Chris.
I started on one last year and plan to finish up on it this summer.
The window has 'willeecue' engraved in gold along with some designs under it.
