Old double butterfly splice cue? Brunswick?

I have an old cue with two butterfly splices with veneers. I have seen similar cue in the Blue Book of Pool Cues 3rd edition pg 38 under Brunswick and on 3cushion website. There is nothing on the cue that says Brunswick. Does anyone know if this is Brunswick or if it is worth anything? The pin is in the shaft and looks like brass and is pretty long. I have some pics but they are too big for forum. I can email to anyone interested in seeing it. It is not in great shape. Is it good for conversion? Is it a collectible? or is it only junk?

Thanks,
Don

Cues

Here are the pics for you.
I believe the bottom one is a Sampaio, not a brunswick. I think they were made in Portugal- there should be a stamp on the forearm beneath the joint.

It may actually be a billiard cue. I've seen many of these double butterfly 1 piece cues around. I think a few companies made them to be sold as Brunswicks, including Schaefer IIRC. They are not rare, per se, and don't tend to hold much value, but are pretty neat if you ask me. :)
