I forgot to mention
Joint o.d. is about .838.
To find after market shafts
Either have the head on the brass insert turned down to
.475/ .478 or have custom shafts made now that you have the spec's.
Yep that's what I figured I have to make a custom shaft wouldthat

I know man but wouldn't that cost more then I payed for the falcon cue butt?

I'm not going to get into Pricing on anything Custom.
Smart move is to find a shaft you think you like. If it has a brass insert with a .490 or larger head on it. Get it reduced.
Or get a shaft that is flat faced as Alphadog suggest.

No way I like old cues I just like to get a falcon shaft that's straight 100 bucks or less .a budget pool player
Ye, the old falcons hit super sweet. Tough to find an original shaft in good condition. And it would have to be an extra if you just want the shaft and not another falcon cue. And for $100 or less? A boy can dream I guess.

I play a custom bowling alley wood shaft on my falcon. 11.5mm and stupid long taper. Love it. It plays better than the original shaft. I'm sure a custom from a decent cue maker nowadays will also play better than any original 30 year old shaft you might find. Pony up the $$$. It's worth it. You already got the butt for a steal.
