When I got the Hoppe cue pictured here, this cue case was with it. I didn't know what it was at the time and so got it later. (Yes, I just proved my billiards ignorance). It's old, and I saw pics of some Hoppe cases which look like this, but they had the Hoppe name on them. Any idea the history of this case? It's in rough shape; the handle strap is missing as well as the strap that buckles over the top, and one end is open.
